Wow! See the first photo of the TSTv decoder

Photo source: nairaland.com

The unveiling of the TStv decorder has come and gone and Nigerians are now anxiously waiting for when sales of the decoder and satellite will commence.

While we have only seen pictures of the said TStv decoder and satellite on its ads, the real photos have not been revealed... until now!

A new photo (above) making the rounds reveals what to expect and what the alleged decoder or rather, set top box will look like.

From what is revealed in the photo, the decoder looks more like a cube and will come in what looks like a milky or white colour (there are two in the ads, one with a black accent and more rectangular look and the one with white colour and a cubic shape which is the leaked one above). The TSTv decoder will feature the navigation buttons right in the middle up front. You can see the channels and volume navigation keys in a circular setup.

At the top are what look like its light indicators to show what you are currently on. The indicators ranges from Wi-Fi, IP, Video on Demand (VOD), 3G amongst others.

I can't confirm the authenticity of this photo but as it stands, this is what we should be expecting from TSTv.

TStv, on its Facebook page also addressed the reasons behind the delay of the commencement of decoder sales. Below is their statement on the issue;

"TStv Africa wishes to inform the general public that the delay in the commencement of the commercial sale of TStv Africa decoder is as a result of complaints of non-availability of dealer / retailer outlets in some areas and some dealers who are still in the process of accreditation, pleaded to get accredited before product sale commencement so as to have control over their region."

Once this issues have been addressed, we should start seeing the decoders everywhere in the country.

Meanwhile, read this post I made to find out more about TStv and what it promises.
