The Tecno F1 is one of three; - including Tecno F2 and Tecno F3 (POP 1) - entry-level smartphones unveiled by Tecno during the Camon X launch in Nigeria. The F1, which falls under the Android Go program is built for a budget-friendly market as it offers low-end technical specs across board, but with Android 8.0 Oreo OS experience out of the box.

Design & Display
Tecno F1 might be a low-end smartphone but it's not an ugly one. The device has a plastic build that curves at the back into the sides to make handling easier. The bezels upfont, however are prominent but it shouldn't be a deal breaker for most customers.The 5.0-inch FWVGA display on the Tecno F1 doesn't come with the infamous 18:9 aspect ratio which isn't a suprise, but with a resolution of 854x480 pixels, expect this setup to perform just fine. Camera, Performance & Storage
Tecno F1 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera which is Ok for the price. The sensor should take nice photos during the day and night time due to the added dual LED flash. Upfront is a 2-megapixel sensor, which surprisingly gets a flash, for low light selfies and video calling.The F1 has Android Oreo 8.0 (Go edition) pre-installed, and relies on a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.3GHz to keep it running. Backed by 512MB of RAM, the F1 should perform fairly when it comes to multitasking. You get 8GB of internal storage which can be bolstered by up to 32GB microSD .
Battery & Other features
Tecno F1 relies on a 2,000mAh battery for juice which should last you a day if you are not a heavy user. The device is not 4G enabled but it is still a good bargain.Other connectivity features on the Tecno F1 are a micro USB port, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-fi 802.11/b/g/n.

Alternative Smartphones to Tecno F1
The Tecno F2 and Tecno F3 are budget smartphones that offers similar experience, with Android Oreo pre installed as well. Other Tecno smartphones you can opt for are the Tecno Spark and Spark Plus.
