The next iPhone to come with wireless charging, according to Apple supplier

Apple will reportedly include wireless charging in its next iPhone, A supplier of Apple has disclosed.

Apple has seen some criticism in the past on refusing to embrace industry-standard plugs and for sticking to the old cable-style of charging. Most Android manufacturers have since embraced wireless charging but the feature has not found its way to the iPhone yet. Well, all that might be about to change.

The CEO of Winstron, a manufacturer in India, Robert Hwang, on Wednesday told reporters that the next generation of iPhones will include "new features like waterproof and wireless charging." Apple had recently added the manufacturer to its roster to increase market share in the country and bring prices down.

The disclosure by Hwang about waterproofing of the next iPhone may not necessarily sound as a big deal since we have seen waterproofing on the iPhone 7 already. But the mention of wireless charging is a great news for anyone that has been begging for this feature.

Also, there was a post on Reddit a couple of days ago that showed  a purported font and back panel.
The back panel is glass, which is another important factor for wireless charging:

Although, the launch of the next iPhone is still far away (Apple usually announces its iPhones in September). So much can change between now and then, but we hope Apple will really bring the wireless charging feature to the iPhone.

What's your take? Do you feel this will be a welcome change for the iPhone loyalist? let's know below.
