It is not the first time we will be witnessing such changes in data subscription plans from Nigerian telcos without a prior notice to such changes, and it certainly won't be the last.
Whenever the said telecom companies are cut short of their dubious acts, they always device other means of accomplishing such agendas, and NCC always turns a blind eye on such issues for whatever reason I'm still yet to decipher.
This time around, MTN, happens to be the guilty party as it has made some ridiculous changes to its data plans which will certainly not sit well with most of its subscribers.
The normal 1.5GB of data the telco giant offers now goes for N1,200. (Yes, you just have to path ways with that extra N200).
Also, the old 1.5GB data has now been split for day and night use. You get to use 1GB during the day and 500MB at night.
This also applies to the weekly 750MB. It is now 500MB for day time and 250MB during the night.
Like I said, there was no prior notice to subscribers before this changes were made.
What do you guys think of these changes? Please leave a comment below?
