Twitter's 'night mode' – a feature that switches the user interface to a dark theme – has been around for sometime now and is quite useful as it helps protect the eyes from that very bright light that comes from the usual white theme and background.
The feature has only been on Twitter's mobile app on both Android and iOS but it has now made its way to the desktop web.
Twitter has now enabled the 'night mode' feature on web which you can toggle on or off manually, unlike the automatic toggle on its mobile app that switches to night mode or a dark theme at night.
You can now enable night mode on https://t.co/fuPJa3nVky! 🌙 Also available on Twitter for iOS and Android. https://t.co/9AjOwcv3Zn— Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) September 6, 2017
You can enable the night mode feature from the 'profile drop-down menu' with just a single tap.
Although the night mode or dark theme feature has been on some Twitter dedicated apps like TweetDeck on Mac, this is the first time it is going to be available for virtually everyone across all platforms on the web.
