Mercedes-Benz, today at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, showed off the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE Showcar. A new Hypercar the German car maker has been teasing for a few weeks now.

The Project ONE was more like a concept when it was first talked about but now, it has been made a reality and it comes with a behemoth price tag of €2.275 (~ ₦977 million).

The Project ONE is inspired by Mercedes' Formula One cars and it is built around the 1.6-liter V6 hybrid that Lewis Hamilton is using to lead the 2017 F1 championship.

It has more than 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of “beyond” 217 mph. The 'supercar' also has an aerodynamic “shark fin” running down its spine that’s similar to the one being used on the current F1 car.

The interior of the Project ONE also takes the footprint of the F1 car. It has racing-inspired steering wheel and seats built in. It is also fitted two big digital displays, air conditioning, and a dock for smartphone in the center console.

Meanwhile, only 275 of this incredible hypercars will be manufactured and sold. I see the Project ONE Showcar as probably an exclusive car that will appeal more to rich sport car enthusiast that already have hypercars in their collection.
