Google will stop paying you if you post offensive YouTube videos



Advertisers are not happy their company ads is appearing on offensive or hateful contents on YouTube and Google is ready to punish offenders, in a way.

YouTube, today has new guidelines released for content creators which tends to clarify what makes videos ad-friendly and expands restrictions to earning advertisement revenue from ineligible videos.

This is in an attempt to completely prevent ads from appearing on videos which advertisers have deemed offensive or inappropriate and have expressed their dissatisfaction.

YouTube now will provide additional details regarding what kinds of content advertisers would want or wouldn't want to be attached with. Also now is a stricter rule on hateful contents, inappropriate usage of family entertainment characters as well as incendiary and demeaning content.

The video sharing company has also announced a new course in their Creator Academy which will help creators deliver content that is more appealing to advertisers.
