iTunes for Windows is coming to the Windows Store

Isn't this just cool?!

Microsoft announced at the Build conference that iTunes will be coming to the Windows Store by the end of 2017.
iTunes has so far been a standalone app that you can only download from the Apple's website, so, the fact that it is coming to the Windows Store is a pretty big deal. This, in fact, will make it easier for most people to download  it on their computer.
What this means for those running Windows 10 S is that they will be able to use iTunes in future as the 10 S presently doesn't support non-Stone apps.
The questions to be asked now is; what will happen to the current standalone version of iTunes, and will other major apps like Chrome be coming to the Windows Store?
