Is this the most ambitious Google Duo update yet?

Is this the most ambitious Google Duo update yet?

Google has added a new screen sharing feature to video chat app, Google Duo in its latest update, v34. The new feature allows users to share their phones screen with parents and friends anywhere at any time. This can help offer technical support on the go which is cool.

To start screen sharing, all you need to do is tap on the screen during a Duo call and select the new screen sharing icon. Unfortunately, the feature seems to be a bit buggy right now, for some users at least. According to Android Police report in their tests, they only managed to get a static image of the caller's screen through to the recipient's phone.

When it works, screen sharing marks the area of your screen that's being cast over to the other side with red borders. You can also pause or stop sharing your screen at any moment. If you don't mind the bug and want to start enjoying the new feature, update to Google Duo v34 here.
