Facebook is testing comments with coloured background but will you use it?

Facebook is testing a new feature on some selected devices that will add a coloured background to comments in your comment box.

This means that comments will appear with coloured backgrounds just like the coloured-background status that has become quite popular amongst users and had even made its way to Whatsapp.

Twitter user Evert Groot was the first to post about this new change in a screenshot which seems to be just on mobile for now.

You will be able to choose from seven colours or gradients including orange, bright green and purple. This new feature could be attributed to the popularity the coloured-background status have garnered since it first surfaced back is December of 2016.

But having a coloured comment litter your comment box is just a bit weird if you ask me. So I just hope it remains in the testing phase for... ever!
