Design & Display
You won't be disappointed with the Infinix Hot 5's design as it looks cool from the rear. The back has a textured feel which should provide for great handling and should make the phone less slippery in your hands.
The phablet measures 154.8mm in length and 77.7mm in width, but it is a bit thick at 8.35mm which is understandable due to the large battery unit. You get 4 colour options with the Hot 5; Red, Blue, White and Green
The Infinix Hot 5 sports a large 5.5inch HD IPS LCD display at 720 x 1280 pixel resolution with a pixel density of 267ppi. This should provide good detail while reading text on the web and media consumption should be great on this smartphone.
Camera, Performance & Storage
The camera on the Infinix Hot 5 is impressive as well. 8-megapixel on the back with LED flash and autofocus should take decent shots even in dark areas. On the front is a 5 megapixel sensor, with LED flash, for your selfies and 'wefies'.
Powering the Infinix Hot 5 is a 1.3GHz Mediatek quad-core processor and paired with 2GB RAM and Mali 400 GPU. Not the fastest phone out there, but for the most part, It should get the job done.
You get 16GB built-in storage with option for expansion via MicroSD of up to 32GB. The phone boots with XOS skin, running on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.

This the highlight of the Infinix Hot 5. It packs a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging, which is huge for a device at this price, and should provide you at least days of average use and around 837 hours of Standby.
Infinix Hot 5 features Dual Speakers on the front, with 3D surround stereo sound to provide unbeatable sound experience while playing music or watching videos with friends.
Infinix Hot 5 also features a fingerprint scanner on the back for that added security. As expected, It offers dual-SIM support, but no 4G LTE support which may be a drawback for some users. But there may likely be a Pro version of the Hot 5 that will support 4G.
Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro USB 2.0.
