Facebook now allows you to Capture 360-degree photos directly from the app

There has been an option on Facebook to upload and view 360-degree photos for more than a year now, but now, there is even an option to capture them too.

Both the Android and iOS versions of Facebook app will let users capture 360-degree photos without the need for a third-party camera or app.

The photo will be in form of a panorama shot, since 360-degree feature is not yet available in smartph cameras, yet.

To create the 360-degree photo inside the Facebook app, scroll to the top of the News Feed and tap the “360 Photo” button. Then slowly spin around for a full turn, all while keeping the the graphic centered in the middle.

When it’s finished, you can pick the “starting point” for the photo and publish it. You can even set it as your cover photo. Cool stuff!
