HTC to add new Edge Sense features to the U11 (Watch Video Teaser)

Android Authority

Edge Sense is arguably the biggest differentiating feature for the U11. This is what allows you to squeeze the phone's side in order to perform certain actions like, shooting photos for example.

The company has released a video teaser that shows an upcoming expansion of the Edge Sense functionality. This, I suppose is in a bid to improve that aspect of their flagship device.

So, with this upcoming features, you'll be able to squeeze your U11 in order to zoom inside Google Maps and Google Photos, change views in Google Calendar, answer and hang up calls, dismiss alarms, and even pause videos in YouTube.

No release time frame yet though, as it is said to be "on the roadmap". I hope this features arrive soon.
