Design & Display
The Gionee S10B is quite identical to the regular S10 in terms of build. With practically the same thickness and weight.
This should translate to good handling. Mind you, this is a phablet and will require both hands to reach the full length of the display.
The Gionee S10B is fitted with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, at a resolution of 1,920 x 1080 pixels and 400 ppi. Media consumption should be enjoyable and text should appear crisp on this display.
Camera
The Gionee S10B does not have four cameras like the S10, but you still get three shooters. At the back sits the dual 13MP and 5MP cameras while you get a massive 16 MP selfie shooter upfront for your selfie pleasure.
Features like dual LED flash, HDR, face detection, phase detection autofocus and touch focus accompanies the sensors. You can also shoot Full HD 1080p videos on this device.
Performance and Storage
The Gionee S10B is not as powerful as the S10 though. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor, clocked at 1.8 GHz. Paired with a Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. Performance should not be that much of an issue with this setup.
On the storage side is a 64GB internal space, expandable via microSD up to 256GB. It boots with Gionee's Amigo 4.0 OS on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Battery and Other features
The Gionee S10B has an edge when it comes to battery capacity with a 3,700 mAh Li-Ion battery. It also has a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, embedded in the home button and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1 (LE, A2DP), dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac with Hotspot and Wi-Fi Direct for wireless connectivity and microUSB 2.0. Gionee S10B supports LTE on MTN, Etisalat, and NTel in Nigeria.
Price and Availability
The Gionee S10B is not yet available in Nigeria or Kenya. When Available, you can buy the smartphone at leading online stores or retail shops near you. Gionee S10B Price in Nigeria is expected to range from N70,000 to N135,000, depending on your location in the country.
