Business and employment-oriented social networking service, LinkedIn, has released the mobile web version of its product dubbed LinkedIn Lite, in more than 60 countries including Nigeria and South Africa.
The Microsoft owned company also made available the Android app for LinkedIn Lite which is available on the Google PlayStore for download. LinkedIn Lite is only about 1MB in size on the PlayStore which makes it quite easy to download like other lite apps such as Facebook Lite, Twitter Lite and Messenger Lite.
In terms of functionality on the lite app, you can:
- Search for people, alumni, seniors, jobs, and companies.
- Connect with people.
- Chat with your connections.
- Edit your profile to include your education, skills and more.
- Get the latest industry news and updates.
