Apple has announced its new line of iPad Pros which consists of a humongous 12.9-inch model and a new 10.5-inch model which has a light weight metal body. Both devices feature new and refined designs with those beautiful Retina displays that have seen some upgrades as well.

Display and Build
The new True Tone display from Apple features a wide color gamut, ultralow reflectivity, an impressive 600 nit at full brightness and HDR support for videos.
Enjoy viewing multimedia content with great sharpness and detail. It is packed in a light 454g metal body with slimmer bezels.
The new panel on the iPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9 comes with an updated refresh rate of up to 120Hz which brings with it faster responsiveness.
This responsiveness allow for a fluid experience when using the Apple Pencil as it drops the latency rate to 20 milliseconds. It also supports variable refresh rate so you can save energy when viewing slower moving or static content or just go with the fluent motion when needed.
Performance
Apple doesn't disappoint when it comes to performance. Both the iPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9 are powered by the Apple A10X Fusion chip, with six CPU cores and another twelve GPU ones. Apple says that adds up to 30% in CPU and 40% in GPU performance, respectively, over the previous chip generation.
Camera
The camera specs is impressive as well. The iPads are fitted with 12 MP sensors at the back with a f/1.8 lens, complete with OIS and a 7 MP FaceTime HD camera up front. Apple has always proven that more pixels doesn't always translate to great photos and we have witnessed that with the iPhones and iPads over the years.
So, expect to take beautiful photos, selfies and wefies with both tablets. Also, the rear camera features Optical Image Stabilization and can record 4k video.
Software
The new iPads come with iOS 10 out of the box with update to iOS 11 to come later this year. The iOS 11 on the tabs will come with several new features. There is now drag and drop support and multi-window apps can be repositioned freely in the UI.
Battery and Other features
The tablets are both packed with a battery that promises up to 10 hours of use on a single charge with support for Fast charging. So, you wouldn't have to wait too long to get these guys juiced up. It also features USB 3 which allows for faster transfer of data. Although, we can't specify if its USB 3.1.
Other cool additions to the software on the iPad Pros include a full sized keyboard, Multi-select and access to Apple's new Files app. The iOS dock has been redesigned as well and is now more flexible to perform tasks. The tabs will also support 4G LTE with speed of up to 450 Mbps.
Availability and Price
The new iPad Pro duo are now available for order in The US and other major markets. Prices will start at $649 for the 64GB 10.5-inch WiFi model and $779 for the cellular (LTE) model while prices will start at $799 for the 64GB 12.9-inch Wi-Fi model and $929 for the cellular (LTE) model.
We don't have any information on pricing and availability in Nigeria or Kenya. You can purchase any of the Apple iPad Pros at leading online stores in your country.
We expect prices to range from 240,000 Naira to 490,000 Naira for the 10.5-inch and 305,000 Naira to 555,000 Naira for the 12.9-inch model (depending on the storage capacity and whether cellular or Wi-Fi) when it is available in Nigeria. Prices may also vary depending on your location.
