Jack Ma, Asia's richest man and the founder of Alibaba Group, will be making his first ever official trip to Africa.
The billionaire, during his three-day trip will be visiting Kenya and Rwanda.
Jack Ma, who is also a special adviser on youth entrepreneurship for United Nations Confrence on Trade and Development(UNCTAD), will be raising awareness for the sustainable development goals (SDGs) during his visit to Nairobi, Kenya.
He will also interact with youth entrepreneurs to find ways in which youth and small businesses can participate in global trade. Jack Ma is expected to arrive Nairobi on the 19th of July, and will be joined by the secretary general of UNCTAD, Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi.
In Rwanda, Ma will give a keynote address at the Youth Connekt Summit. A summit organised by thr Rwandan government, in partnership with UNCTAD and UNDP.
Jack Ma is currently worth $41.8 billion and was ranked second on Fortune's 2017 World's 50 Greatest Leaders list.
