The new comment moderating feature from Instagram now lets you choose to see comments from either everyone, people you follow and your followers, just your followers or just people you follow.
Instagram also added a few new features as well. One is the ability to anonymously report when someone on a live stream is in need of mental support and the app will then flash a help screen for them with helpline numbers, suggestions, and an option to call or text someone for help.
Another is the new face filters added to live videos, which you can choose from a selected number of face filters to add during a live stream. You will also be able to change the filters during the course of streaming.
Lastly is the new kindness-themed stickers that can be utilized in Instagram Stories.
The updates have started rolling out and should be available globally in a couple of weeks.
