How to change Samsung's S8/S8+ Navigation icons to Pixel style without rooting

The Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ is a stunning device that was launched with on-screen nav buttons which was the first in the S line of Galaxy phones.

The nav buttons look really nice and you can even change the orientation in the settings area. But now, there is a secondary option for you if you like modifying things and don't attach much importance to the Samsung's on-screen keys.

A senior member at XDA-developers just developed a mod that replaces the Samsung navigation keys with an overlay to look just like the nav buttons found on the Google Pixel. No Root Access Required.

You can still change the colour of the nav bar  and the order of the nav buttons in the settings area. Note that it's risky to download apps that are not on the play store.

To remove the mod, simply go into your apps list and uninstall “com.android.systemui.product.res.overlay”, then restart and you’ll be back to normal.
